As China’s Cybersecurity Law comes into force, global carriers are confronted with new challenges in cross-border business. To educate network operators and mitigate potential compliance risks, hi-H members came together to examine the current layout of the regulations and jointly plan for the future.
Workshop participants were given a comprehensive overview of China’s cybersecurity laws, as well as the development of cross-border data communications policy – both of which are of major significance for operators in dealing with cross-border data business. Existing regulator laws, policies and regulations for cross-border data communication, as well as compliance requirements and recommendations, were discussed and analyzed.
